The MAX30100 is a pulse oximetry and heart-rate sensor module. It can be used with an Arduino board to measure the oxygen saturation of a person's blood and their heart rate. The module uses infrared and red LEDs to measure the amount of oxygen in the blood and an LED driver to control the intensity of the LEDs. The module also includes a microcontroller that processes the data and sends it to the Arduino board via an I2C interface. The Arduino board can then use this data to display the heart rate and oxygen saturation on a display or send the data to a computer for further analysis.
